THE PEOPLE OF 9-11

As I sat here this morning, I wonder how can this be?

It was one of the saddest days this world will ever see,

Some were sitting talking on the phone,

Telling a loved one what time they would be home,

Maybe a young father showing a picture of his child,

A young pretty woman busy doing a file,

As police, fire fighters, medical personnel were starting the day,

How could they know, that a tragedy was on the way,

The people on the air flights, waiting to land,

Then suddenly it all was swept away like a hurricane blows the sand,

These were people with loved ones and friends on every shore,

Because of the HATE, they will never go home any more,
