A New Year is moving toward us, can we know what lies ahead?

Must we look back next year, over things left unsaid?

God help us to understand, that only You have the power,

That You have control, even in our darkest hour,

So many of our loved ones were called away this year,

As we look ahead in wonder, let us show no fear,

God heal the heart that is breaking, give strength to remain strong,

Please smile on Your children Lord, help us to carry on,

Some of our family have been called to a far away place,

God Bless America, what ever we must face,

Thank You for another year, Dear Lord let us face what we must,

  As it says in our national motto. " IN GOD WE TRUST"
