"Someone to watch over me"

BECKY MARIE

I have a friend named Becky Marie,

She hides deep inside my pocket so none can see.

I never worry because I will never forget the way,

Becky is with me throughout the day.

She stays with me when I am at school,

Just knowing she is near is very cool.

She stays there all day, never makes a sound,

We are together, when the night comes around.

When it's late at night, my mother tucks me in bed,

She climbs up on my pillow close to my head.

She whispers, "Don't worry you will be just fine",

Now go to sleep and have dreams divine.

I know she will always be with me,

My Angel, my best friend, my Becky Marie.
