A PART OF ME

If some day you get the news, that I am no longer here,

This will not be true, you have nothing to fear,

Please never think I did not care, even on my darkest days,

Sometimes we let the trials of life stand in the way.

We are only here for a little while our destiny must be met,

You touched my life in a special way, this please don't forget,

A part of me will always live, I will never be really gone,

For your love will let me live in your heart, I will never be alone.

You will feel me tug at your heart strings to remind you that I am here,

So always know, I might be gone, but I will always be near.
