SOUTHERN MUSIC

Sweet Southern Music fills the soul,

It tells of a place where we never grow old,

There are words like " Precious Lord take my hand,"

I grew up singing "Oh,come Angel Band,"

You are asked by Jesus "To come and dine,

Where the river of life flows into the bright Sun Shine,"

It touches the soul with, "If I could hear my Mother pray again,"

"Oh how how I love Jesus, and " What a friend,

It tells of a place where the milk and honey flow,

When I think of this place, one day I will go,

There is no sadness on this a far away shore,

Where we join our loved ones gone on before,

It gives hope for the young and the old,

Yet the greatest has never yet been told,
